This is an original pressing still SEALED in the original shrink-wrap (in NEAR MINT+ condition) with the 1970 John & Yoko calendar inside.

A Brief History Of LIVE PEACE IN TORONTO 1969:
The first issue of this record featured the calendar with a wire binding. After a few thousand of these had been shipped, it became obvious the calendar was causing all sorts of problems. Capitol Records, the distributor for Apple, decided to change the construction of the calendar and so the second issue (with the white, plastic binding) was born. No changes were made to the jacket or the LP and no changes to the heart of the calendar, only the calendar's spine was altered to facilitate shipping. However, even with the new binding the calendar caused trouble, and so the third release had no calendar at all.

The 1970 calendar caused warping of the LP, it cut into the jackets packed on top and bottom, and it limited the number of pieces that could be packed in a single shipping carton. For these reasons it is difficult to find a close-to-perfect first issue of Live Peace In Toronto 1969 particularly one still in the original shrink-wrap. We found one. Notice that there is no warping and that the jacket has not been sliced or cut or marked in any way. In fact, this piece has been well cared for over the years. You can see by the breather holes it's in the original shrink-wrap. We think you'll be very pleased with this item, but if not, return it to us within two weeks and we'll refund your money including the cost of shipping it back to us.
